Summary of case studies illustrating the distinction between risk assessment (provided by the IUCN Red List of Ecosystems) and priority setting. In this session, we highlight how provision of ecosystem services can help guide the identification of priority actions for threatened ecosystem. These priority actions range between conservation to various land-use alternatives, including a focus on economics.
