International Cooperation for Green Growth

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is dedicated to pioneering and diffusing a new model of economic growth, known as "green growth," that simultaneously targets key aspects of economic performance, such as poverty reduction, job creation and social inclusion, and those of environmental substantiality, such as mitigation of climate change and biodiversity loss and security of access to clean energy and water.

GGGI grew out of the green growth experience of the Republic of Korea. From inception, GGGI was intended to convert into a full-fledged international organization by the end of 2012, in order to serve the international community with efficient management based on long-term strategies.

In this event, GGGI will present its contributions, strategies and goals as the institutional leader in green growth policy.
