Capacitaci�nA capacity building workshop on the application of IUCN categories was implemented in Bahamas with the support of BIOPAMA. GPAP has supported a review on the application of PAs Management Categories in France implemented by the IUCN French Committee

PAs in Bahamas have been homologated to the IUCN Categories and reported to Protected Planet/WDPA.
A study on the application of IUCN Categories in France was concluded and is influencing national policies.

GPAP is promoting strong engagement of WCPA in supporting this work at regional and national level.
