Convocar a partes interesadas/creaci�n de redesThe IUCN-WPC was successfully implemented and over 6,000 people participated on it. The Congress was attended by many IUCN member organizations as well as high level representatives from a number of IUCN State members. All IUCN's Commissions were involved in the planning and implementation of the Congress. Many representatives from local communities and indigenous peoples organizations also...

- Successful implementation of the IUCN-WPC.
- Delivery of The Promise of Sydney which will guide GPAP and WCPA activities for the next 10 years.
- Strong commitments from a number of governments to strengthen their protected areas systems.
- A number of publications and scientific reports were launched including the 2014 Protected Planet Report and the landmark book Protected Area Governance and Management.
