Educaci�n/Comunicaci�n/Concientizaci�nWhile sensitizing these women on the importance of sustainable development of wetlands and particularly the health risk related to the quality of water used to water the crops, CECOSDA also carried out three field work activities to educate thirty-two (32) farmers on how crops from these fields could be watered with naturally filtered water, the same water but which passes through the ground...
Actividades de campoCECOSDA carried on trainings with some local farmers and women agricultural groups. Some of these working groups included amongst others the urban farmers of Lekie with each farmer having at least a plot in a wetland. Majority of the trainees were women who exploit wetlands to grow maize, salad plants, and leafy vegetables. Generally, such wetlands are very productive as the soil is moist and...

The Center for Communication and Sustainable Development for All (CECOSDA) has trained 32 wetlands farmers and 3 women’s Agricultural groups on the sustainable exploitation of wetlands for agriculture in the Center region of Cameroon.
