Actividades t�cnicas/cient�ficasThe Korean Plant Specialist Group (KPSG) moves as a driving engine to achieve the GSPC Targets in Korea. The Korea National Arboretum (KNA) supported the KPSG in 2014 to work on the red listing for Korean plants.

Plant for People Initiative: A total of 6,368 global assessments of plants were published on The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ since the beginning of the project and the activities related to tool development to aid plant assessments are close to completion.
Online IUCN Red List training: On 1st April 2014, the French and Spanish versions of the online IUCN Red List Training course were released making the course available for the first time in all three official IUCN languages.
GSPC toolkit: This website has been developed on the basis of guidance from the Conference of the Parties to the CBD and recommendations from meetings of the GSPC Liaison Group.
IUCN SSC Korean Plant SG: Professor Chin-Sung CHANG, Red List Authority Coordinator of the Korean Plant Specialist Group with colleagues published the “Checklist of Vascular Plants in Korea”, which is the first publication of this kind in the Korean peninsula. This document has provided baseline information regarding species information and their status.
IUCN SSC China Plant SG: 300,000 sheets from 18 herbaria are newly digitized and their information is accessible on the Chinese Virtual Herbarium (http://www.cvh.org.cn)

Actividades t�cnicas/cient�ficasPlants for People: Additional fundraising for the P4P initiative and building synergies with other projects/programme to leverage more fund aimed at strengthening training and capacity for botanical gardens and arboreta staff on redlisting which is a synergetic activity to GSPC targets.
Actividades t�cnicas/cient�ficasThe IUCN SSC China Plant SG: their main goal in 2015 is to complete the publication of the Red List of China Higher Plants. The list has already been officially launched online in 2013 by the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
Actividades t�cnicas/cient�ficasThe IUCN SSC Korean Plant SG (KPSG) and the IUCN SSC Re-introduction Specialist Group (Mr P. Soorae) recently discussed to have co-workshop on plant re-introduction in 2016. Secondly, the training of younger generations is rather urgent. The KPSG and the Global Species Programme will collaborate to build capacity among the younger generations.
