Indicate and briefly describe any actions that have been carried out to implement this Resolution:

Actividades t�cnicas/cient�ficasThe IUCN Asia Regional Office has been working jointly with the SSC in developing the Asia Species Action Partnership (ASAP) as a response to this Resolution. One of the priorities of ASAP is to identify critically endangered species and integrate required conservation actions into National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans.

As an example, IUCN ARO is currently working with the Government of Myanmar to integrate ASAP priorities into its NBSAP. In addition, IUCN Asia's role as the Regional Implementation Team for the Indo-Burma CEPF Eco-region also contributes to the implementation of the Resolution. There are also other initiatives of IUCN Asia including its work on supporting the Global Tiger Forum's tiger range states as well as the proposed illegal wildlife trade initiative, Wildlife for the Future which will contribute to the objectives of this Resolution
