Capacitaci�nA Northeast Asia Regional Workshop was organized in March 2016, including participants from China, DRPK, ROK and Mongolia. The workshop was focused on Protected Areas and IUCN Red List. Over the workshop, extensive discussions among the participants have taken place to discuss future collaboration.
Convocar a partes interesadas/creaci�n de redesA workshop of IUCN members in China, ROK and Japan was organized in June 2016, to discuss future collaboration.

A workshop on transboundary protected areas is being dicussed for later 2016, among the members and partners in NEA countries, based on previous events and discussions. The stakeholders in the sub-region are also interested to develop an IUCN NEA programme.

IUCN China is actively fundraising to move the IUCN NEA programme forward
