The Working Group has two co-coordinators and four thematic leads covering Trade, Habitat, Research and Capacity Development. On-going
Actividades t�cnicas/cient�ficasA workshop was held in Sarawak, Malaysia, in May 2017, bringing together regional and global experts to develop a Conservation Strategy and Action Plan for the Helmeted Hornbill. The workshop was hosted by the Sarawak Forestry Corporation in collaboration with the IUCN SSC Asian Species Action Partnership, Wildlife Reserves Singapore, Wildlife Conservation Society, Hornbill Research Foundation, BirdLife International and facilitated by IUCN SSC CPSG. Indique cuáles han sido los resultados/logros obtenidos en el marco de las actividades realizadas: 
The Conservation Strategy and Action Plan for the Helmeted Hornbill is almost completed with final draft under review. It is hoped to be published before the end of the first quarter in 2018. The Helmeted Hornbill Working Group is now formally established and sitting under the newly revitalised Hornbill Specialist Group. The Working Group is already active with over 40 members and will be responsible for driving and enabling implementation of the Strategy and Action Plan. As such, the Working Group will monitor and track progress against the agreed Action Plan. In addition, the Working Group will provide ongoing advice and support to government agencies and other organisations working to save this species.

Capacitaci�nCapacity building and training programmes specifically targeting Helmeted Hornbill field conservation and research are being developed.
Educaci�n/Comunicaci�n/Concientizaci�nThe Helmeted Hornbill Working Group as well as member organisations are proactively working to raise awareness around the conservation of the species and improve education and communications around the trade including behaviour change campaigns.
Actividades de campoA number of organisations are currently implementing and will continue to implement field activities around the conservation of Helmeted Hornbills in their range states. This includes monitoring, research, protection and working with local communities.
Influencia pol�tica/promoci�n de pol�ticasThe Helmeted Hornbill Working Group will continue to be involved in infuencing policy and advocacy work across the range states and demand countries for Helmeted Hornbill, as well as international conventions including CITES.
