Birds of Dilmun is an account of the 330 bird species recorded in the Kingdom over the past 10 years. It brings together the latest information on the resident breeding species, summer or winter visitors and those birds which pass through Bahrain in spring and autumn on their annual migrations to and from east Africa, as well as the habitats of Bahrain and the places to go in order to see these birds. Beautifully illustrated with over 300 photographs taken in Bahrain by Juhani Kyyrö, the book makes a valuable contribution to the inventory of biodiversity of Bahrain and the wider Gulf region.
