Recaudaci�n de fondosSecured a NERC Knowledge Exchange Fellowship to fund a postdoc to work full-time on developing the Green List of Species (2017-2021), with additional discretionary funds of £40,000 for use by the Task Force (workshops, travel, publications, consultations).Completed
Influencia pol�tica/promoci�n de pol�ticasSubmitted language for IUCN's response to Notification 2018-063, in which the CBD Subsidiary Body on Implementation has requested views on the aspects of the scope and content of the post-2020 global biodiversity framework ("IUCN views on the preparation, scope and content of the Post-2020 global biodiversity framework"). The developing framework is suggested to be relevant to Target 12, by (1) indicating the number of prevented extinction (2) indicating avoided deteriorations in species' status (3) demonstrating the effects of conservation action vs the status quo.Completed

Actividades t�cnicas/cient�ficasWorking with members of IUCN SSC Specialist groups to perform test assessments of species from a wide variety of taxa to test the Green List of Species Framework's generality and identify areas which need to be adjusted.On-going
Actividades t�cnicas/cient�ficasWorkshop held in Oxford in March 2018 to bring together IUCN SSC Specialist Group Chairs to discuss the Green List of Species Framework and how to adapt it for different taxa and optimise user-friendliness.Completed

To date (31 January 2018) 73 IUCN SSC Specialist Groups have engaged with the development of the Green List of Species. There are currently 90 species assessments in progress or completed, with comments being recorded and implemented as modifications to the protocol.
