Convocar a partes interesadas/creaci�n de redesThe three IUCN members (SGE, ProGEO and SEDPGyM) are active in networking towards the implementation of this resolution, not just for the period of the programme, but also continued thereof. and contacting stakeholders amongst the education, tourism and nature conservation communities within their own geographical and thematic/sectorial fields of action. These include the organization of meetings and scientific symposia.On-going
Influencia pol�tica/promoci�n de pol�ticasAll three organizations (xx) promote advocacy in their context, trying to influence the regional, national and international governments and institutions, developing new policy approaches, negotiations and discussions, assisting in the development and improvement of legislation relating to conservation; encouraging governments to adhere to and implement international agreements relating to geoconservation, establishing governance structures (multi-stakeholders dialogues, task forces, governmental bodies, etc.). This includes active participation in the Geoheritage Specialist Group of the WCPA of IUCN.On-going

Indique cuáles han sido los resultados/logros obtenidos en el marco de las actividades realizadas: 
The specified actions are ongoing and not limited to the year 2018. Very slowly and gradually, IUCN members and secretariat assume geoconservation concepts, but there is still a long way to go ahead. Inclusion in the IUCN Programme is a key step towards the effective implementation of the few geoconservation resolutions (WCC-2008-Res-040, WCC-2012-Res-048 and WCC-2016-Res-083).
¿Qué esfuerzos se están llevando a cabo para superar dichos obstáculos?: 
So far, the IUCN intercongress programmes do not consider, not even mention, geoconservation, geoheritage or geodiversity. This resolution (WCC-2012-Res-048) calls for the use of inclusive terms (nature, natural diversity, natural heritage) to avoid the exclusion of geoheritage and geodiversity. This is yet to be seen, and that is why we are continuing with the actions.
