Educaci�n/Comunicaci�n/Concientizaci�nSFI, through the Project Learning Tree (PLT) program, is advancing environmental education, forest literacy and career pathways using trees and forests as windows on the world. This is achieved partly through the development of key educational materials that support curriculum outcomes, through the training of educators to take learning outdoors and through the delivery of forest knowledge to increase forest literacy.On-going

In 2021, PLT engaged close to 15,000 educators reaching an estimated 5 million students through PLT education resources and workshops across the US.
¿Qué esfuerzos se están llevando a cabo para superar dichos obstáculos?: 
COVID-19 continued to create a challenge in the delivery of in-person events and workshops for educators, however early in the pandemic SFI created resources and virtual training to support our network in implementing PLT workshops.
