A conversation was started with the Spanish Ministry of Defence, but it has been fruitless so far. Talks will continue.

- A meeting will be held in Fuerteventura with researchers on cetaceans from the Macaronesia and will re-launch the proposal;
- An event is envisaged at the European Parliament, but it is not clear if it will be hosted this year;
