Some initiatives to support the dissemination of the importance of ecological corridors were developed in the Mesoamerican region. Successful experiences and lessons learnt were shared between countries, mainly between Costa Rica and Honduras.
Development of a first edition of webinars on sustainable planning using an ecosystem approach. Workshops well attended with many high quality speakers.

The design and management of biological corridors in the region will be strengthened through the development of management effectiveness guidelines and their promotion at the regional level.
