Activité FutureDescription
FormationIUCN made an in-kind support offer to IPBES (IPBES/2/17 Annex VII) including a 0.5 full-time equivalent of IUCN staff to support stakeholder engagement for 2014–2018. IPBES accepted IUCN in-kind offer after IPBES-3, upon adoption of the Stakeholder Engagement Strategy (IPBES/3/4), and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IPBES will be developed in 2015.
Rassembler des parties prenantes/RseautageIUCN will support the self-organisation of the open-ended, inclusive Network of IPBES stakeholders through facilitation of meetings related to the structuration of the Stakeholder Network and the drafting of Terms of Reference for the IPBES stakeholder Network.
Education/Communication/SensibilisationTo further encourage IUCN Members, Councillors, and Committees to get engaged in IPBES, IUCN will set-up raising awareness sessions in each Regional Conservation Forum (RCF) held from Jun. – Dec. 2015. The proposed format: a raising awareness presentation, followed by a panel discussion with regional IUCN experts involved in IPBES, and a Q&A session from the audience.
