Rassembler des parties prenantes/R�seautageIUCN ARO continues to facilitate the activities of the range states for the gyps vultures through supporting the Regional Steering Committee for the Conservation of South Asian Vultures and in working together with the SSC, Birdlife and Government and NGO members across India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

The outcome of supporting the range states through the Regional Initiative has led to action on banning the use of diclofenac, a veterinary drug which has been the prime cause of mortality in the gyps vulture species. In addition, there have been country level action plans developed including ecosystem valuation of services provided by vultures
Quelles mesures ont été prises afin de surmonter ces obstacles ?: 
There has been a challenge in finding funding for support the regional aspects of the implementation of this Resolution. IUCN Asia regional office was not successful in submitting a PIF for a regional initiative to the GEF. However, there are efforts underway to identify other sources of funding including the EU.
