Describe the results/achievements of the actions taken: 
The Resolution (WCC 2016 Res 093) was cited at the XXXIII Ordinary Meeting of the Convention for the Conservation and Management of Vicuña, held in Cusco, Peru. The signatory countries of the Convention (Republics of Argentina, Plurinational of Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru) agreed to submit a proposal for a Resolution to CITES CoP18 in May 2019.
What challenges/obstacles have been encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and how were they overcome : 
One of the main obstacles is to generate an information networks within each country and between countries, in addition to centralizing this information to be processed technically and scientifically.
Briefly describe what future actions are needed for the implementation of this Resolution: 
Convene stakeholders/Networking: motivate the generation of information exchange networks and centralization of information within each country (between state agencies, police, NGOs, others) and between countries.

Fundraising: search for international funds to finance field activities and applied research in forensic sciences.

Policy influencing/advocacy: promote the generation of networks through the Convention for the Conservation and Management of Vicuña, whose next meeting will be in the Republic of Argentina.

Scientific/technical activities: generate basic information on genetic characterization of vicuña populations in order to identify the origin of confiscated skins. Experience genotyping techniques from animal fiber.
