Describe the results/achievements of the actions taken:
IUCN-South America is supporting the implementation of this Resolution in the Framework of two initiatives:
1) "Amazonia 2.0" Project: a draft for a MoU between IUCN-South America and WWF-Guianas was prepared with the objective of supporting the implementation of Resolution 105 with an interinstitutional approach (however at the moment the national actions in Surinam have been delayed so it es exepected to continue the collaboration with WWF-Guinas along 2018).
2) "Shared Resources, Joint Solutions" Project (IUCN-NL): IUCN-South America is supporting this initiative in Guyana and Surinam with the objective of increasing the visibility of IUCN in both countries and promote relations with National Authorities.
What challenges/obstacles have been encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and how were they overcome :
IUCN has not a constant presence in both countries (and few members in that region). It would be important also to coordinate actions with IUCN-ROfE regarding French Guiana (ans also IUCN-Brazil considering the whole sub-region).
Briefly describe what future actions are needed for the implementation of this Resolution:
The MoU with WWF-Guianas it is expected to be executed along 2018. In addition, meetings for the "Shared Resources, Joint Solutions" Project (IUCN-NL) will be carried out along 2018.
