Activit�s visant � influencer et/ou promouvoir les politiquesSubmitted language for IUCN's response to Notification 2018-063, in which the CBD Subsidiary Body on Implementation has requested views on the aspects of the scope and content of the post-2020 global biodiversity framework ("IUCN views on the preparation, scope and content of the Post-2020 global biodiversity framework"). The developing framework is suggested to be relevant to Target 12, by (1) indicating the number of prevented extinction (2) indicating avoided deteriorations in species' status (3) demonstrating the effects of conservation action vs the status quo.Completed

To date (31 January 2018) 73 IUCN SSC Specialist Groups have engaged with the development of the Green List of Species. There are currently 90 species assessments in progress or completed, with comments being recorded and implemented as modifications to the protocol.
