Describe the results/achievements of the actions taken: 
The IUCN SSC Girrafe and Okapi Specialist Group has worked together with the Giraffe Conservation Foundation and other partners to continue to implement the resolution through out 2018. Many activities have been completed. Field activites of translocation of gifaffes were successfully completed. Regarding to policy influencing, giraffe is now listed on the Convention of Migrotory Species' Appendix II.
Regarding scientific activities, Red List assessments of seven subspecies of girraffes were published in November 2018.
What challenges/obstacles have been encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and how were they overcome : 
The resolution is well implemented thanks to the dedication of the IUCN SSC Giraffe and Okapi Specialist Group and the Giraffe Conservation Foundation.
Briefly describe what future actions are needed for the implementation of this Resolution: 
In 2019, there will be two major activities planned, focusing on scientific and technical activities: 1)dveloping first ever National Giraffe Conservation Strategies and Action Plans for countries and Regions; 2)finalising first Red list assessments for remaining two subspecies - Masai and South African giraffe.
