IUCN Secretariat contributed to the technical review of the updated International Finance Corporation's Guidance Note Six, as it relates to IFC Peformance Standard Six. IFC PS6 is utilized as a benchmark by many fianncial institutions, including the Equator Banks.
IUCN Secretariat has initiated a program of work linking Natural and Cultural Heritage Impact Assessment, in collaboration with UNESCO, ICCROM, and IAIA
What challenges/obstacles have been encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and how were they overcome :
Insignificant resources and clear programatic objectives within the Secretariat to fully follow this issue.
