Describe the results/achievements of the actions taken:
IUCN-South America is supporting the implementation of this Resolution in the Framework of three initiatives:
1) "Shared Resources, Joint Solutions" Project (IUCN-NL): IUCN-South America is supporting this initiative in Guyana and Surinam with the objective of increasing the visibility of IUCN in both countries and promote relations with National Authorities.
2) "Integración de Áreas Protegidas Amazónicas, IAPA": The sub-regional meeting: Towards the Strengthening of the REDPARQUES Amazon Vision, with the presence of Guyana, French Guyana and Suriname, among other countries, had the next objectives: 1. Exchange experiences and lessons learned about regional initiatives in the Amazon biome, related to protected areas and their integrated landscapes; 2. Share the progress and results of the Amazon Vision of REDPARQUES; 3. Identify good practices in protected areas. Delegates from Guyana and Suriname participated in various regional events: ENCUENTRO REGIONAL DE PROGRAMAS Y PROYECTOS DEL BIOMA AMAZÓNICO, Thematic Groups of the REDPARQUES, etc.
What challenges/obstacles have been encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and how were they overcome :
IUCN does not have a constant presence in the region. Additionally, there are few members. It would be important also to coordinate actions with IUCN-ROfE regarding French Guiana, and also IUCN-Brazil considering the whole sub-region.

Specify the actions to be developed by the Amazon 2.0 Project, led by IUCN South. Articulate the actions of the members in the area attending the One Program
