Continuation of the results / achievements of the 2107 actions into 2018. Please sea 2017 report. No reports have been provided by the main actors (French Ministry of Foreign Affairs / ICRI)
2018 was the International Year for Coral Reefs (IYOR) https://www.iyor2018.org/
The goals of IYOR were:
- Strengthen awareness about ecological, economic, social and cultural value of coral reefs and associated ecosystems
- Improve understanding of the critical threats to reefs and generate both practical and innovative solutions to reduce these threats
- Generate urgent action to develop and implement effective management strategies for conservation and sustainable use of these ecosystems.

Challenges include fund raising (as always!)
Briefly describe what future actions are needed for the implementation of this Resolution: 
Global Coral Reef Monitoring Network (GCRMN) is working on a global assessment of the state of coral reefs and mangroves by 2020, for the important international environmental deadlines (UNFCCC COP26, CBD COP15, etc.). Indeed, the last dates back to 2008.
