Education/Communication/SensibilisationThe Task Force held the following workshops in 2019 to invite broader perspectives to contribute to development of the Green List of Species: (1) Workshop with Otter Specialist Group in Tangjiahe, China; (2) Workshop with members of Global Trees, Mangrove, Palm, Cycad, and Conifer Specialist groups, as well as tree experts from FFI, BGCI, Kew, Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, and Morton Arboretum (US), (3) Knowledge Products Session at SSC Leader's Meeting in Abu Dhabi, held jointly with Red List of Threatened Species, Red List of Ecosystems, Invasive Species Specialist Group, Key Biodiversity Areas Completed
FundraisingIn 2019 the Task Force was awarded the following funding to enhance development and communication of the Green List of Species: (1) Fondation Franklinia grant to hold a workshop in Cambridge to gather input on the Green List of Species from tree experts; (2) Cambridge Conservation Initiative (CCI) Collaborative Fund Grant to work with FFI, BirdLife, and the Cambridge Department of Zoology to complete additional sensitivity testing.On-going

Activit�s techniques/scientifiquesThe Task Force's 6 Working Groups (Planning and Benchmarks, Spatial Units, Viability and Functionality, Counterfactuals and Scenarios, Technical Issues, Communications) each held at least 2 meetings in 2019 (in-person or remote) and produced recommendations documents for the Oxford Task Force meeting in November 2019. Feedback from test assessments (190 species to date), workshops, and consultations have been incorporated into the Green List of Species Standard and Guidelines documents. These documents will be sent to IUCN members for consultation before the Green List of Species soft launch at WCC 2020.To date (26 November 2019) 90+ IUCN SSC Specialist Groups have engaged with the development of the Green List of Species.
