Autre activit�The successful rehabilitation of the Ranger uranium mine is a priority for the Australian Government. The Supervising Scientist continues to oversee the rehabilitation of the Ranger uranium mine on behalf of the Australian Government to ensure that rehabilitation will achieve the statutory Environmental Requirements. The Supervising Scientist undertakes a detailed review of each version of the Ranger Mine Closure Plan to ensure it is fit for purpose and meets the statutory requirement for the application of best practical technology. Information on the work of the Supervising Scientist, including the assessment of the Ranger Mine Closure Plan, can be found at www.dcceew.gov.au/science-research/supervising-scientist. The rehabilitation of the Ranger uranium mine is also being undertaken in close consultation with the Mirarr people, the Traditional Owners of the land on which Ranger is located. The Mirarr are represented by the Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation and the Northern Land Council, both of which are fully imbedded in the regulatory and approvals processes. On-going
