Describe the results/achievements of the actions taken:
Several members report specific actions to follow through on this resolution. Attention is also drawn to the new IUCN Youth Strategy launched in 2022 which provides a platform for cohesive work across the Union on youth.

There is much work in this area beyond the reports submitted.

As of 2023 the above summary remains the picture, with a small number of reports from active members.

In 2023 leadership on youth in the IUCN global programme has been vested in the Human Rights in Conservation Team, led by Ms Mayte Gonzalez, and members working on youth are invited to contact her to discuss needs and opportunities.

For full implementation then upscaling of IUCN resources and capacity for youth engagement is needed.
