The main focus has been bringing together the key proponents to determine the way forward to implmenting the proposal. It wa snoted that while there has been a lot of material collected on the topic of maw trade it needs to be communicated to the key stakeholder and promote action to address this growing trade.
WCS has developed a a report on the topic and also prepared a draft concept note for fundraising that cna be used to implment the resolution. In additon, connnections have been made to other keyindividuals who are working on complementary areas. In this regard, cooridnation and collaboration with Duncan Leadbitter of fishmatter who organised g a regional indo-pacific workshop on the maw trade. The workshop also included meWCS members presenting their findings.
What challenges/obstacles have been encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and how were they overcome :
financial reouces to comprehensively address the resolution. WCS has developed a concept note to be developed into a proposal and fund raised for. A major limitiation is budget and time to follow up on the resolutions.

Continued netowrking and exchange with key stakeholders and finding finacial resouces for full implmentation
