Activit�s visant � influencer et/ou promouvoir les politiquesBuilding on the previous activity report NWC continues to promote the resolution and raise it in relevant fora. As part of NWC's comments to the US State Department request for input on international deforestation and commodity supply chains per a US Presidential Executive Order, , NWC submitted Resolution 108. NWC also shared the State Department request with relevant staff. NWC raised REs 108 and illegal deforestation with the DDG Program during his last visit to DC. NWC has shared the State Department reports to the President on international deforestation including commodities with the IUCN forest and grasslands team, the Res 108 focal point/points and the DDG PorgrOn-going

Same challenges as before. There appears to be another focal point/points. We have wrtiten but not heard back. IUCN has no lead on natural resource crime incliding timber. No action by IUCN and Commissions on combatingf illegal timebr trade and corruption per the Resolution.
