Several meetings were held with SALVIA to review the outcomes of Operation Jaguar. Support was also provided to WWF in disseminating regional actions for Jaguar Day on November 29.
A project proposal was jointly developed with the National Service of Protected Areas (SERNAP) to present to the IWT Challenge Fund, aiming to prevent and combat illegal wildlife trade in Bolivia and other South American countries.
Additionally, support was provided to SERNAP in developing a proposal for Tech4Nature to implement technology within protected areas to improve monitoring and surveillance, thereby strengthening actions established by Operation Jaguar.
Efforts are also underway to promote collaboration between the TRAFFIC initiative and the governments of Ecuador and Colombia to develop a project that strengthens control measures at airports to prevent the illegal trafficking of species.

Initial actions implemented have revealed jaguar trafficking networks in Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, and Suriname, orchestrated by criminals of Chinese origin.
