Triglavski Narodni Park

The largest (84.806 hectares) and oldest national park of Yugoslavia is situated in the north-western corner of Slovenia, alongside the triple frontier with Italy and Austria. In this part of the Slovene Julian Alps all of the mountain wilderness charm is preserved. The Triglav National Park is distinguished by its dramatic limestone mountains, deeply cut valleys, glacial lakes and rich alpine flora and fauna. Traditional scenes of cheese making, grazing flocks as well as panoramic views of the national park at differents seasons are included.
