Convene stakeholders/NetworkingDuring the WPC the Governance Stream implemented a number of targeted discussions and consultations on the different issues related to this resolution and proposed a number of recommendations on how to accelerate progress on the recognition of Indigenous Peoples and Community Conserved Territories and Areas at national and global levels as a key element to implement Target 11.
FundraisingA project was successfully negotiated with UNOPS for building capacity and networks on the role of indigenous peoples’ and community conserved areas and territories (“ICCAs”) and governance diversity, quality and vitality within national Protected Area Governance Assessments.
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
- Targeted technical and policy (particularly targeting the CBD) recommendations were proposed and widely communicated during the WPC.
