Convene stakeholders/NetworkingThe IUCN-WPC was successfully implemented and over 6,000 people participated on it. The Congress was attended by many IUCN member organizations as well as high level representatives from a number of IUCN State members. All IUCN's Commissions were involved in the planning and implementation of the Congress. Many representatives from local communities and indigenous peoples organizations also...
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
- Successful implementation of the IUCN-WPC.
- Delivery of The Promise of Sydney which will guide GPAP and WCPA activities for the next 10 years.
- Strong commitments from a number of governments to strengthen their protected areas systems.
- A number of publications and scientific reports were launched including the 2014 Protected Planet Report and the landmark book Protected Area Governance and Management.
