Education/Communication/Raising awarenessExtensive consultation has been carried out by WCEL in the need to create a Global Judicial Institute for the Environment to assist national courts in advancing their capacity to handle environmental law cases.

IUCN Council has endorsement of the Global Judicial Institute for the Environment. Options for creating the Global Judicial Institute for the Environment were proposed and under consideration.
