Significant progress has been made in regeneration studies under the leadership of CWCS, good progress made in land use planning, sensitisation and awareness raising involving local communities, building local management institutions through a GEF funded project implemented by FAO in collaboration with Cameroon mangrove network, WWF continuing work on gazettement of Ndongore NP within Atlantic coast, local NGOs funded through FEM program managed by IUCN Cameroon office to support sea turtles conservations, mangroves restoration initiatives etc, AFDB funds managed by COMIFAC financing REDD+ initiatives of mangroves forests within certain municipalities. This work is carried out by CWCS, promotion of energy efficient fish smoking houses within fishery communities to reduce mangroves deforestation
What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?: 
Capacity of local NGOs and local communities, difficult enabling institutional environment to facilitate collaboration between various stakeholders (government, NGOs, local communities, private sector), advocacy on mangroves ecosystems protection and inadequate funds from government to support conservation programs of mangroves ecosystems
