The TGCI is primarily a collaborative organization that relies on the work to be undertaken by its members. The TGCI is also experiencing diminished funds and leadership in need of renewal.

There has been insufficient time to see results from this specific initiative. The ongoing work of our partners such as the IUCN Global Drylands Programme and the Wildlife Conservation Society are in line with this objective.
