Education/Communication/Raising awarenessAt the World Parks Congress, the Temperate Grasslands Conservation Initiative of the Grasslands Protected Areas Specialist Group held a one-day pre-Congress workshop and hosted a half-hour session in Stream 1 proposing a new approach to securing the Aichi target by focussing on IUCN Categories V and IV primarily in central and eastern Asia.

There has been insufficient time to see results from this specific initiative. The ongoing work of our partners such as the IUCN Global Drylands Programme and the Wildlife Conservation Society are in line with this objective.
What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?: 
The TGCI is primarily a collaborative organization that relies on the work to be undertaken by its members. The TGCI is also experiencing diminished funds and leadership in need of renewal.
