Policy influencing/advocacyBird Life International, Member of IUCN has implemented several actions to fight against illegal killing. Moreover, they are implementing a project on Capacity Building for Flyway Conservation in the Mediterranean. IUCN-Med is participating in the advisory committtee of the "Capacity Building for Flyway Conservation" project leaded by Bird Life International
Policy influencing/advocacyLetters have been sent to Countries of the Mediterranean basin, EU, Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (Bonn Convention), Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats (Bern Convention) to inform them of the Resolution.
Policy influencing/advocacyThe Bern Convention has organised several workshops at Mediterranean level to boost the regulationon migratory birds in the Mediterranean.
