The Nexus Dialogue provided a platform for sharing lessons and has resulted in publication of a set of 6 synthesis papers on innovation for water infrastructure from environmental, financing, engineerinig and governance perspectives. The process has also contributed directly to the preparation of new financing strategies for nexus-based design of infrastructure, including nature-based solutions, for example by the EU. The West Africa Dialogue on Dams has been instrumental in shaping regional ECOWAS strategy on hydraulic infrastructure.
