The situational analysis derived from the strategy document prepared building on inputs from members of the Asia Regional Members Committee in 2014 was presented at the Asia Regional Conservation Forum in Bangkok and advice and feedback was obtained. Subsequently a revised draft has been prepared including identifying measures for strengthening programmatic and Union presence across Asia. The strategy will be finalised before the WCC in Hawai'i in 2016 and presented at the next Congress.
