Education/Communication/Raising awarenessSeveral online campaigns have been organized on Weibo, led by WWF China and supported by IUCN and others.
Policy influencing/advocacySeveral meetings and dialogues have taken place between international organizations (WWF, WI, IUCN) and the Poyang Lake Control Project Office of Jiangxi Province to exchange views and share information and concerns.
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
As a result of efforts of various organizations, the Poyang Lake Control Project has been suspended.
What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?: 
IUCN China has been working activiely with other organizations, especially WWF China on this resolution, as they have stronger capacity.

Future ActionDescription
Policy influencing/advocacyPolicy influencing, through direct dialogues and online campaigns, are still needed to make sure the development of Poyang Lake Control Project is well addressed.
Scientific/technical activitiesIt is needed to continue evaluate the causes and impacts of the Poyang Lake Control Project, in relation to other facotrs that are impacting on the Yangtze River and the Poyang Lake.
