Some of the results have been new collaborative frameworks and MOUs with institutions such as PEMSEA, ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity. In addition, IUCN Asia Regional Office is in the process of developing a new Ramsar Initiative, 'Indo Burma Regional Ramsar Initiative' involving Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam

Description
This is an ongoing initiative and IUCN Asia Regional Office together with Members continues to look for opportunities for strengthening coordination of the management of both terrestrial and marine aquatic ecosystems in East Asia
