Convene stakeholders/NetworkingSouth American Conservation Forum planned and developed including the participation of the South American Committee and National Committees of the region.
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
South American Conservation Forum held in Quito – Ecuador, in 2015 has demonstrated a consolidation of the institutional presence of IUCN in South American.
This was very successful in terms of networking and its results were:
• Feedback and discussion on the draft IUCN Programme 2017 – 2020.
• Priority themes of the South American Regional Plan identified and discussed.
• South American Contributions to the implementation of the Promise of Sidney.
• Events and Motions for the next coming WCC-Hawaii identified and discussed.
• Feedback on Council proposals regarding to statutory amendments
• Forum assessment demonstrates that participants are very satisfied with the organization and results of the event: 88% believe that the Forum fulfilled its objective: providing a space for collective construction and preparing the region for the World Conservation Congress.
