|
290 Solar PV home lighting systems were installed in Mananakele community, Kapare District, Central Province, PNG. As part of the rural electrification programme, this project offsets the pending need for biomass and fossil fuels to provide lighting and electricity generation, mitigating future emissions associated with energy consumption for the electrification of the village.
