Education/Communication/Raising awarenessNew South Wales Office of Environment and Heritage will implement a broad range of activities that support the goals of the proposed #NatureForAll programme, including: i. a major marketing campaign that targets young adults; ii. education and citizen science programs including WilderQuest, Wild About Whales, Discovery and innovative children-centred experiences; iii. implement programs that empower young people to access nature and champion conservation, including Save Our Species Youth Programs; iv. membership of the Inter-Commission Taskforce focussed on Inspiring a New Generation. Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
NSW OEH is undertaking a campaign to encourage young adults (18-35 years old) to visit and enjoy NSW national parks. Achievements to date (Period: October 2016 to November 2017) include: - Substantial content production: 117 articles, 45 videos, 6 photo shoots, over 700 new images - The Young Adults Campaign (YAC) blog has over 300,000 users, with over 531,000 pageviews - The campaign has contributed to increase Facebook followers by 174% since its launch in October 2016 to over 125,000 - Accumulated post reach is 8.3 million, video views amounted to over 3.2 million - The Instagram page has over 20,800 followers and the YAC database has over 5,200 subscribers - Tracking results (for first 6 months in market) show that consideration of day trips to national parks has increased, ‘no knowledge of NSW national parks’ has dropped from 13% to 10% and park visitation over last 12 months has increased, especially in 26-34 year old WilderQuest is a NSW OEH program to encourage children and their families to learn about and enjoy nature and visit NSW national parks. Education/Communication/Raising awarenessNSW OEH will continue to implement it's education and awareness raising campaigns, specifically WilderQuest, ranger-guided tours, Wild About Whales and it's social media campaign targetted at young adults. NSW OEH will also continute to be a core member of #NatureForAll by supporting the movement, implementing relevant activities and contributing to the Community of Practise.
