Meeting of the three Yellow Sea counties in Yancheng, China as part of China's World Heritage nomination for Tidal Flats, in Dec 2017 to agree on a joint structure and mechanism for moving forward Resolution 26

Resolution approved at COP of Convention of Migratory Species in Philippines in Nov 2017 on conserving coastal wetlands, notably tidal flats and proposal for a similar resolution at upcoming Ramsar COP in 2018

The East Asian - Australasian Flyway Partnership is developing communication and education campaigns to support this process, as well as support through its Yellow Sea Task Force
