Policy influencing/advocacyIn October of 2018 Hawaii State Governor David Ige visited Mo'omomi Moloka'i to discuss the Mo'omom Community-based Subsistence Fishing Area rules and when they could begin hearings. The Governor has yet to make up his mind. In 2019 two more communities are expected to submit their proposals to the state for their own CBSFA's in Kipahulu (Maui) and Miloli'i (Hawaii island).On-going
Policy influencing/advocacyWe have been working on a Secretariat letter to state policymakers from the IUCN since the passage of reso. We are still waiting on this. First quarter of 2019 would be opportune.On-going
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
We expect our Governor to move Mo'omomi to hearings in 2019 and hope that the two new community proposals will move much quicker through the process than their predecessors. We expect administrative and executive improvement to improv with the times.
