Convene stakeholders/NetworkingThe aforementioned IUCN members have contacted WCEL several times by e-mail, but without any response. WCEL counseling on the implementation of international regulations is needed, particularly as the process may be similar the previously developed for the CITES.On-going
Scientific/technical activitiesSGE and IGME have been consulting stakeholders (academic and research institutions, amateur and collector groups, dealers and companies) to prepare, publish and distribute documents, legislative texts, guidelines, scientific studies and other information related with moveable geological heritage, as stated in the resolution. Compilation included best practice examples from Scotland, USA and other countries. Results were presented at national and international meetings, and published in national and international journals.On-going

The Spanish IUCN members (SGE and SEDPGYM as NGOs, and IGME as related government institution) have been (and are) working on the implementation of this resolution. This has included an assessment of the state-of-the-art at international level, and a proposal of reccomendations for the national level.
What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?: 
WCEL was contacted twice but there has been no response.
