Continued opposition from the Federal and Alberta governments and from the oil and gas and pipeline industries which have been ignoring the urgency of addressing Canada's obligations under the UNFCCC UNCLOS CBD

The Enbridge pipeline was stopped. It was a concerted effort by many citizen's in bc . my contribution was only referring to international principles such as the precautionary principle and the rights of future generations

Submitting a petition to the Commissioner on the environment about Canada's failure to comply with international law. I have tried to use international law to set aside injunctions; the Judge stated that all the international law i was using was not judiciable in BC. the problem is that while Canada ratifies and adopts international instruments, no leg.is passed
