Convene stakeholders/NetworkingThe plastic portfolio is working across 5 regions to implement a harmonized set of assessments (plastic pollution, policy, economic) and action plans to reduce plastic leakage into the environment. Scientific/technical activitiesThe plastic portfolio conducted a plastic pollution footprint scan in 2018 to identify all available methodologies. The most appropriate methodology is being rolled out across 13 use cases in 2019 which will represent a large globally-relevant set of national-level evidence about plastic pollution distribution, abundance, types, sources, pathways and sinks. This evidence base will help determine nationally-appropriate pollution reduction targets
