Describe the results/achievements of the actions taken:
1. The global directory of National and Regional Committees was completed with the aim to review it every 3-6 months.
2. The global Group met 4-5 times in 2018 by Skype. All regions are represented within the group and report on activities in their region. Due to lack of resources, it was not possible to convene members of the Group in Sharm El Sheik during the COP, as it was originally planned.
3. Annual reporting to IUCN Council.

What challenges/obstacles have been encountered in the implementation of this Resolution and how were they overcome :
1. Some Committees are inactive/not replying to e-mails; therefore it was quite complex in some cases to complete the data for the directory.
2. Lack of financial resources to enable face to face meetings.
Briefly describe what future actions are needed for the implementation of this Resolution:
1. Give the group through its Members, the opportunity to comment on the Membership Strategy
2. Give the group through its Members, the opportunity to comment on the draft Programme, amongst others, through the Regional Conservation Fora, scheduled in 2019.
3. Strengthen Secretariat support to the group and to National and Regional Committees by implementing the Membership Strategy (capacity building, knowledge sharing, etc)
4. Have regular online meetings (every 3 months)and seek the possibility to meet face to face
Are these actions planned for yet:
